Zhao Chen swallowed.
Weapons of the black-hole kind Zhao Chen had seen before.
The interstellar missiles carried by a certain interstellar missile ship before this had used technology of the black-hole sort.
But those were only small black holes, and for a short time.
Whereas this black hole of the Gluttonous Demon King, by the account alone, was several hundred times the volume of that black-hole interstellar missile.
Its duration was likewise very great.[1]
Its power of drawing was very great as well.
It could suck into itself every substance whatever about the black hole.
This might fairly be called a nuclear weapon of the planetary age!
"Both of these flagships are strategic existences!" The gladness within Zhao Chen's heart was simply past describing.
But he had not forgotten that one thing remained unlooked at.

This was only a brief account; to know it in more detail, one had only to look at its several data and building particulars.
From this account alone, Zhao Chen knew how terrible it was.
An interstellar bomb able to destroy several star systems outright, and to destroy them utterly, from the standpoint of space itself!
This is not the same as a nuclear bomb.
Drop a nuclear bomb upon a planet, and though the life upon it is gone, at least the space remains; and with the passing of time, life may be born and multiply there again.
This ultimate bomb could not be used lightly.
Its use would mean that the space within this universe fit for living things to dwell in would grow ever less.
But its existence gave Zhao Chen more confidence besides in facing Order.
It was a sword, a double-edged sword that could cut down the enemy and destroy its wielder alike.
Having read through these three technologies,
Zhao Chen had not forgotten the other three great treasures.
He tapped open the System's T6 shop.
Those three T6 technology goods, and their exchange options, appeared before Zhao Chen.

Looking at the three T6 technologies newly taken up,
Zhao Chen was well content.
And the System points and task points in his pocket were ample still.
And when the next quarter came, a few days later, three new T6 technologies could be had in exchange again.
By that time he could seek out Chief Engineer Annie and the rest, and lay before them the new building plan for the coming year.
The year to come would be a year in which the Owl Dragon Legion leaped in kind and not in degree.
For a great many T6 technologies would be put to use upon the Owl Dragon!
A batch of T6 interstellar warships would enter service.
Which meant that the Owl Dragon had truly crossed into the age of T6 technology.
And this gave Zhao Chen a firmer footing besides in facing the threat of Order.
At the thought of all this, Zhao Chen's humor was excellent.
The gloom he had felt over a certain matter was swept away in an instant.
Upon the throne.
Charlotte's keen sense of danger made her feel that something was coming.
Her ears stirred slightly; she heard footsteps, and then opened her weary eyes.
And saw Zhao Chen standing beside the throne with a smile all over his face.
"What are you smiling at?" Charlotte looked at Zhao Chen in suspicion, not knowing why that smile of his should make her flesh creep so.
"Today is a good day. We should celebrate," Zhao Chen said, and walked toward Charlotte.
Celebrate?
Something struck Charlotte at once; her face went white and she made ready to flee, but where were her powers against Zhao Chen's?
In a moment she was a kitten in Zhao Chen's hands.
The stir of it woke Lilith beside them.
Lilith felt her own body all pins and needles, and heard those sounds coming again.
Again?
Lilith swallowed. She could not hold out.
Heaven knew how that body of Zhao Chen's had been made.
A machine, likely, would not be so valiant.
At the thought of it, Lilith began to shift herself with the greatest care, meaning to slip away from here unseen and unheard.
Charlotte, O Charlotte… it is not that your little sister will not help you; your little sister truly cannot any more.
"Do not… do not go…" But at that, Lilith's tail was caught by a hand.
And the one who had caught Lilith's tail was none other than Charlotte!
Charlotte's dazed eyes were fixed upon Lilith, as though to say: I cannot escape, and you need not hope to.
Lilith felt at that moment another pair of burning eyes fasten upon her.
And in that moment she knew that there was no escaping.
As she was hauled back, Lilith turned a thought over in her mind:
whether she ought not to find herself a few more sisters.
At this rate, even a succubus could not bear up!

The last day of the year.
The Owl Dragon Star System.
Busier than upon any other day, and not only for the turning of the year.
Within the several star ports could be seen interstellar warships of every region and character.
Angel Race, Demon Race, and even Machine Race warships.
Warships of the Three Great Empires were there as well.
Certain people of no standing had not even the qualification to enter the Owl Dragon Star System, and could only take an interstellar liner or other transport at some other system and change over to the Owl Dragon Star System.
All these signs proved that today, some matter of importance was to happen.
