The Elf Sovereigns' decision was soon passed down.
The High Council had no objection to the decision.
After all, for now it was only support for the Owl Dragon Empire's battlefields; for their Sacred Elf Empire this battle plan carried the least risk, and there was no reason to refuse it.
Very soon these 5 million ships of Sacred Elf legion fleet groups began making ready to set out.
And the Flame Elf Queen, who had brought all this about, was rather busy before she left.
At this moment two Elf Kings had come in person to the bridge of her own ship:
the Radiant Elf King and the Emerald Elf King.
"The two of you have come to find me specially after the meeting this time. I take it it's about the Owl Dragon Empire's T6 Supernova Ultimate Bomb?" The Flame Elf Queen saw through why the two had come.
Compared with the threat of the Devourer Civilization, the threat of the Owl Dragon Empire's T6 Supernova Ultimate Bomb was now plainly the greater.
For now they and the Owl Dragon Empire were allies, true.
But mind you, in this world there were no allies forever.
What was more, the Owl Dragon Empire had risen far too fast; in some respects its "threat level" was even far higher than the Devourer Civilization's.
And from its founding until now, the Owl Dragon Empire's story had been a history of war; its times of peace, one could say, did not make up even half of it.
For such an interstellar civilization, to be wholly at ease about it was impossible.
And now the existence of this Supernova Ultimate Bomb in the Owl Dragon Empire's hands raised its threat level further still.
"From our Sacred Elf Empire's point of view, we can't help being worried about this. We already have to face the threats of Order and the Devourer Civilization; we can't have one more in the Owl Dragon Empire," the Radiant Elf King said.
And the Emerald Elf King, his eyes burning, asked now, "I know it's somewhat difficult, but could we get more intelligence on this Supernova Ultimate Bomb? How its explosion is made up, its internal molecular structure and so on. If we could produce technological weapons of this type with plant technology, then, relying on plant technology's highly efficient production, we could have more technological weapons of this grade. We might even…… even hope to make a technological breakthrough through it!"
It could be seen that the two Elf Kings' attitudes to this matter were wholly different.
The Radiant Elf King was mostly worried.
The Emerald Elf King was mostly eager and curious about this technological weapon, thinking it might be a chance.
The Flame Elf Queen said, "As for your worries: I'm on good terms with the Owl Dragon Empire's side now, true, but I don't deny the possibility exists. But as things look now, the threats of Order and the Devourer Civilization are beyond doubt the greater. At the least, until Order and the Devourer Civilization are destroyed, the alliance between the Owl Dragon Empire and us won't be broken. And besides, in this unfamiliar multiverse, our Sacred Elf Empire is the Owl Dragon Empire's only ally right now; they won't turn their guns on us at a time like this."
The Radiant Elf King looked thoughtful.
The Flame Elf Queen looked at the Emerald Elf King, whose eyes were eager, and said seriously, "You should know yourself how hard this proposal of yours is. This Supernova Ultimate Bomb is beyond doubt of the very highest importance in the Owl Dragon Empire. Never mind all the intelligence on it; getting even the tiniest scrap of it would be very hard."
A helpless look came over the Emerald Elf King's face.
In truth he knew this very well in his heart, but with so good a chance laid before him now, if he did not even try for it, he would certainly regret it.
At this point the Flame Elf Queen spoke again: "But from what I know of that Owl Dragon Emperor, with him, in truth, anything can be negotiated. So long as he's given good enough terms, he might agree to some of your terms."
Good enough terms.
That meant nothing but a trade of equal value.
The Emerald Elf King looked thoughtful; a trade of equal value he could understand. In his place, he too could never hand over important technology to outsiders for nothing,
unless the other side had something tempting enough in hand.
"Technology in our hands that could match this Supernova Ultimate Bomb…… The technology of those few T6-grade interstellar warships? But the Owl Dragon Empire has the technology of several T6-grade interstellar warships of its own already. Or else raw materials from the World Tree……" the Emerald Elf King murmured to himself there.
But the words carried clearly to the ears of those around.
The Radiant Elf King's heart gave a jolt.
This fellow, to get the technical data he wanted, was just the sort to do a thing like that.
He hurriedly looked at the Emerald Elf King and said, "Mansfield! Calm down a little. In truth…… in truth we don't necessarily have to trade for this technology of the Owl Dragon Empire's. Perhaps we have other ways to get this line of technology. We can think it over slowly."
The Emerald Elf King said nothing, but something seemed to keep flickering in his eyes.
"Ahem…… Salaman, you're about to take the third wave of reinforcements to the Owl Dragon Empire. We won't trouble you here any longer. A safe journey; contact us at once if anything comes up." The Radiant Elf King hastily ended the conversation, then pulled the Emerald Elf King away with him.
The Flame Elf Queen only watched the scene with a smile.
She knew very well that what she had said just now had planted a seed in the Emerald Elf King's heart.
With the Emerald Elf King's temper, as this seed sprouted, he was sure to push the matter forward himself,
and, to get the technical data on the Supernova Ultimate Bomb, would open a series of trades with the Owl Dragon Empire.
This was what the Flame Elf Queen wanted to see, after her dealings with the Owl Dragon Empire in this time.
In the Flame Elf Queen's heart, the Owl Dragon Empire was the Sacred Elf Empire's best ally at present, and an ally that must never become an enemy.
Then how to strengthen the bond between them?
There was only close exchange in every area:
culture, technology, military affairs and so on.
And if there could be close contact in military technology, even the two sides trading and learning some of each other's secret technology,
it would beyond doubt draw the two sides closer still.
Add to that some secrets the Sacred Elf Empire itself held.
She could well take this chance to tell the Owl Dragon Emperor of them.
After all, she had given her promise before, and the Owl Dragon Emperor had kept his side.
With things arranged this way, she could both keep her promise and not count as betraying the Sacred Elf Empire.
Thinking of this, the corners of the Flame Elf Queen's mouth turned up in spite of herself.
This return to the Sacred Elf Empire could be counted the time she had been in the best mood of all.
