The duel between the T6 Dragon-Bones Taotie Super-Heavy Hive Mothership and the T6 Troll Monarch Interstellar Fortress Ship went on.
Only the shape of the fighting had begun to change somewhat.
Because of the threat from the Devourer Civilization interstellar warships on its flanks, the Dragon-Bones Taotie had no choice but to draw off some hive combat units to defend its flanks, so that they would not come under attack from enemy interstellar warships.
At the same time, the T6 Dragon-Bones Taotie Super-Heavy Hive Mothership began sending out large numbers of hive combat units to strike the T6 Troll Monarch Interstellar Fortress Ship head-on.
For now, each side's super-flagship was using its own means to attack the other.
The swarms of the Dragon-Bones Taotie Super-Heavy Hive Mothership surged at the Troll Monarch, attacking the Troll Monarch's star shields without end.
Once the Troll Monarch's last few layers of star shield were broken through, it would be a catastrophe for the Troll Monarch.
On the other side, the Troll Monarch's close-in guns met the oncoming swarms with a barrage, and large numbers of hive combat units could be seen turning into fireballs in the void.
But the swarms were simply too many, alas; these attacks could hardly wipe them out entirely, and could only hold a stalemate.
At the same time, the Troll Monarch's main and secondary guns were all aimed at the hull of the Dragon-Bones Taotie Super-Heavy Hive Mothership, firing without end.
As this fierce fire closed on the Dragon-Bones Taotie Super-Heavy Hive Mothership, it was now and then intercepted by those jellyfish,
or else struck the hull of the Dragon-Bones Taotie Super-Heavy Hive Mothership.
And most of the shots that struck the hull of the Dragon-Bones Taotie Super-Heavy Hive Mothership did no great real damage; they only left crater after crater sunk into the Hive Mothership's biological armor.
And after the strikes, these craters could be seen with the naked eye recovering bit by bit.
That was another advantage of biological armor: it was alive in itself, with an extremely strong power of self-repair.
So long as the damage did not reach its roots, a Hive Mothership could recover quickly after a battle.
That was one of the advantages of a biological interstellar warship.
Of course, a large part of the reason no real damage had been done to the biological armor was that the threatening shots had all been intercepted by those jellyfish.
The interception system these jellyfish formed could even tell shots apart; in battle it could pick out shots whose point of impact posed no threat, or whose power posed no threat.
Those shots they would not choose to intercept, giving priority instead to intercepting the powerful, threatening ones.
That made the whole defensive system seem all the more perfect.
At this moment the two super-flagships were attacking each other like this, as though waiting for one of them to show signs of tiring.
"This young lady hasn't got the time to drag this out with you here." The Hive Princess folded her arms; a glint flashed in her eyes.
The next moment, at several places on the hull of the T6 Dragon-Bones Taotie Super-Heavy Hive Mothership, openings slowly unfolded, revealing huge shadows within.
This scene was seen by many as well.
Huge figures could be seen, one after another, breaking away from the T6 Dragon-Bones Taotie Super-Heavy Hive Mothership.
They were hive combat units no one had ever seen.
And their size far exceeded that of any hive combat unit they knew!
