Chapter 1171

You Shall Have Eternal Life

✦ Fresh translation view original MTL

A certain star region in the Angel Race's territory under the Owl Dragon Interstellar Empire.

"This is the latest battlefield intelligence we have obtained. First, the situation in the Judgment Angel star system. After the Owl Dragon legion fleets deliberately detonated a fixed star, the Owl Dragon legion fleets became aware of the problems with that method as well. On the other battlefields against the undead fleets, they have not used it again. They have turned to containment instead. Apart from the Judgment Angel star system, the star-system battlefields where other undead fleets have appeared have for the most part been brought effectively under control by the Owl Dragon legion fleets." The secretary officer reported this intelligence to the Judgment Angel Queen before him.

"How many undead fleets are in the Judgment Angel star system now? Have any T6-grade undead starships, or undead creatures, appeared?" the Judgment Angel Queen asked.

The secretary officer shook his head. "As for the Judgment Angel star system, the Owl Dragon legion fleets and the Angel Race's fleets have sealed it off completely. No word comes out of it anymore. But judging from the defense lines in the several star systems around the Judgment Angel star system, the two sides should not yet have come to blows again. Most likely the undead creatures within the Judgment Angel star system are still fermenting after the stellar explosion. To what grade this undead army has developed, we do not know."

The Judgment Angel Queen knit her brows.

She very much wanted to see how great an effect her handiwork had truly had.

And so she very much disliked this state of affairs.

But there was nothing for it; she could not get past the Owl Dragon legion fleets and the angel legion fleets deployed in their cordon[1] to learn directly how things stood in the Judgment Angel star system.

"Tell me how the battle goes on the Owl Dragon legions' northern hive line," the Judgment Angel Queen said, changing the subject.

The secretary officer called up another file. "The northern hive line has now seen nearly 50 hours of fighting. So far as we have learned, the Owl Dragon Empire's Third Fleet Group, the Hell-Angel ace fleet group, and the Queen of the Starry Sky ace fleet group have gone to the northern hive line to support the battlefield. By the data we have obtained, on the northern hive line, counting the reinforcements that have arrived, the Owl Dragon Empire's legions have at least 400,000 interstellar warships there. And this time the hive-race side has sent 50,000,000 hive-race warships. By striking first, and with certain hive-race unit types never before seen in the Owl Dragon Empire's database, it has gained the upper hand on the northern hive line at the outset."

Hearing this, the Judgment Angel Queen smiled, content.

Under the two-pronged attack of the hive-race that Order had raised, the Owl Dragon Interstellar Empire was bound to collapse.

No one could stand against the Great Existence.

Not even the Machine Race, still less the Owl Dragon Interstellar Empire, a mere upstart power.

"How are the other few fellows doing now?" the Judgment Angel Queen asked.

"At present, uprisings have broken out one after another in five places within the Owl Dragon Interstellar Empire's borders: two in the Demon Race's territory, two in the territory of the Warhammer Interstellar Federal Kingdom, and one within the Holy Radiance Kingdom. But the uprisings do not look promising. The Owl Dragon Empire's guard legion fleets are on watch against this threat, and have stepped up patrols and garrisons in several unstable star systems. Those few uprisings have done no more than stir up a little disorder for the Owl Dragon Interstellar Empire."

The secretary officer paused, and looked at his own Angel Queen. "And the other several are all pressing us. They hold that we have not carried out the tasks we were to carry out in the region we are responsible for, as the original plan had it. They have even threatened to go to the Hive Nest and tell on us."

"Tell on us? Children's games." The Judgment Angel Queen snorted coldly, a disdainful smile on her face.

The secretary officer said nothing.

"Still, we do indeed need to stir something up. Otherwise it will be hard to answer to that side. And at the same time we must put some more pressure on the Owl Dragon Interstellar Empire," the Judgment Angel Queen said in a low voice.

She looked at the secretary officer. "The matter I entrusted to you before, how do the arrangements stand?"

"It is all arranged, but the other side says they must meet you before they can settle the plan for the uprising," the secretary officer said.

The Judgment Angel Queen was silent a moment, then nodded. "Very well. I will meet them."

At a certain star port, a shuttle came into its berth.

Several people in masks and cloaks stepped down from the shuttle.

"Might you be the honored guests from afar?" A middle-aged male angel came over and asked respectfully.

"We have come to visit an old friend," a woman in the middle of the group said.

"Please follow me." The middle-aged male angel led the way, and the party from the shuttle followed behind.

The party left the landing berth, rode a hover-lift, and came to the door of a private room.

"Please." The middle-aged male angel pushed open the door of the private room and gestured that the party might go in.

The party went through the door.

Several people were already waiting in the private room.

Once the party had come in, the door of the private room closed.

"May I ask… is it Her Highness the Angel Queen?" A male angel with a scar across his face stepped forward and asked respectfully.

"It is I," the masked female angel said.

But no one in the private room spoke; they only watched her.

In the end, the female angel took off her mask after all.

It revealed the face of the Judgment Angel Queen.

"We pay our respects to Her Highness the Angel Queen." Everyone in the private room saluted in turn.

"No need for ceremony. You said that if only I came, you would be willing to stand on my side and raise an uprising within the Angel Race's borders. Now I have come. It is time to carry out our plan," the Judgment Angel Queen said.

"May I ask… what manner of existence, in the end, stands behind you? And what… shall we gain at the last?" the scar-faced angel asked in a low voice.

The Judgment Angel Queen laughed softly. "Behind me is the Great Existence, an existence beyond your understanding. It does not exist within our universe. But it commands technology we can never touch. Even though it cannot descend onto our universe's plane, the fostered kin it has raised are alone enough to wash our universe's original sin away with ease. The future of our universe's plane is already sealed. And our only choice is to stand on the side of the Great Existence. And our choice will see to it that when the Great Existence descends upon our universe, we will be bathed in the Great Existence's radiance, and have glory and opportunity beyond compare."

Hearing all this left one quite befogged.

And it was more like some zealot preaching.

Seeing the baffled, wavering looks on these people's faces, the Judgment Angel Queen threw out, point-blank, one important piece of news: "You shall have eternal life!"
